Illegal immigration proponents ignore a critical issue

There is more than one national story brewing in Arizona.

Did Mexican students hang the U.S. flag upsidedown at a California School? Yes...

The ARIZONA ENFORCEMENT OF IMMIGRATION LAWS has placed Arizona at the epicenter of illegal immigration. The State of Arizona, floundering under the burden of illegal aliens that take everything while failing to contribute anything, has been forced to actually enforce the laws that not only have been on the books but that have been essentially ignored by those hired to enforce those laws -- an impossible situation for Arizona.

WHAT?

That's right. The LAWS have been there for years. THEY have been IGNORED while the state has HIRED enforcement officers and PURCHASED all the required equipment, only to PRETEND to be enforcing the laws now in question and under fire for -- you guessed it -- actual ENFORCEMENT.

And while the mainstream media criticizes and attacks Arizona and the legislators that have actually had the audacity to REPRESENT their CONSTITUENTS, America is speaking via essentially every website that's addressed the issue -- and the comments are virtually 99% POSITIVE in SUPPORT of ARIZONA'S stand.

After all, as in the case of Quartzsite, what can possibly be GAINED by standing by and watching the destruction of the goose that laid the golden egg? Can people hope to keep that which they refuse to defend?

Libel, Slander and Other ILLEGAL Activities

There is more than one national story brewing in Arizona.

Luca Zanna of Kingman, Arizona, has filed suit against the Mohave County Supervisors for violating his civil rights [story here] in a move that parallels the same situation facing Quartzsite today. [Zanna's Radio Stations HERE and HERE.]

Zanna has charged that the supervisors made comments about him that impugned his character -- and there is enough evidence to support his charge that he has promised to see the case heard in Phoenix if the local court does not properly see the case through.

Zanna wants an apology or $ 500,000.00 -- whichever the Mohave County Supervisors would prefer.

Lawsuits Against the Town of Quartzsite

The current status of Quartzsite is far worse than most people suspect. Faced with situations that prior to this point have been hidden from view, the catastrophes have continued unabated.

Lawsuits are rampant, and Quartzsite simply can't take a loss like the one that just struck La Paz County when they were hit with a $9.3 MILLION dollar judgement in court -- for doing similar things to those reportedly happening in Quartzsite.

Elected officials are not exempt under the law. In fact, they are expected -- as candidates for office -- to be particularly astute at handling finances, contracts, agreements, employee relations so as to prevent the taxpayers of their communities from harm.

This is a reasonable expectation that the town's officials will not make faulty decisions that will ultimately render the town financially destitute and cause them to focus on the citizenry to offset their inaccountability or ineptitude as officials.

In Quartzsite, that's precisely what's happening.

Other suits against the town involve property zoning, changed without permission -- against existing laws.

There are others than cannot yet be disclosed.

Pending issues that may soon become suits involve taxation issues whereby the town has assumed powers that they may or may not legally wield.
Yet others entail illegal taxation practices and slander of the would-be taxpayers, prior to the town even proving the monies are even owed.

Do these people owe the town money? Or were they accused of owing the town money so the town councilmen could prevent them from competing against them in a legal election for office?

The town officials' decision to prevent certain individuals from running for office on the premise that they owe money was challenged and shown to be illegal even before the town's officials went forward with their decision to pass it anyway. Several of those involved are moving forward in bring suit against the town over those issues.

The town is also under fire for First Amendment Rights violations. [Free Speech Law.] It is not an option for an 'acting Mayor' to react the way 'acting Mayor' Wes Huntley did in this video clip where he is seen ordering Jennifer Harris from an open meeting in Quartzsite. Harris promptly consulted attorneys to defend her right to free speech.

Verifying the Facts:

In Quartzsite, when listening to complaints about the media, find out why they're complaining.

Then read whatever publication they've said they're reading and make certain they are not misrepresenting the content. Compare facts to fiction.

Then find out how they're related to the sitting town council or representatives of the sitting town council and ask them this:

Why are they afraid of The MINESHAFT?
